Howdy, friends!  I know it's been a while, but here's what's been going on with my '48 Packard project car.
For starters, I've decided to ditch the straight-8 for a good number of reasons, most of which are money-related.  In it's place, I am putting in a Ford 302 V-8 that I've built as a "race motor".  Bored .030" over, zero-decked block, Comp Cams Magnum 270H camshaft, custom heads, Edelbrock 3-deuce intake with Ford 94's, you know, nostalgia motor.  Behind that little beast is a Ford AOD (non-computerized) and a Ford 9" with 3.90 gears.  I'll tell you guys more when it happens.  Later, kats!
